Electrolux reports that there is a problem with a part of the stick vacuum: when the vacuum cleaner is used, it can overheat.
The overheating of the part could only take place when the vacuum cleaner is used. So not when it is being charged or in standby mode.

The company urges users to stop using the AEG FX9 vacuum cleaner. Users can discover the affected serial and product numbers affected by this recall through a special list.
The product and serial number of the FX9 can be found behind the dust container of the vacuum cleaner.

New other vacuum cleaner or money back
Electrolux offers users the option to get a replacement vacuum cleaner: the similar AEG 8000 Ultimate. Users can also choose to have their purchase amount refunded.
